Son Dam Bi, a 25-year-old South Korean singer who debuted in 2007 with her first single "Cry Eye". This song has started to gain her exposure to the audience. After that, she has been training in the United States and also released a mini album with her title single "Bad Boy" in Korea.
In september 2008, she make a comeback with her single "Crazy" which become a crazed in korea. Her husky voice and powerful dancing appeals to many korean public. However, the song has never won her top spot in k-chart on any music shows.
In March 2009, Son Dam Bi released a new mini album called Type B - Back To The 80's. She make a comeback stage on Mnet M! Countdown on 26 March 2009 with her title song "Saturday Night" as well as "Snow is Falling". Just 2 weeks time, the song has eventually won her the first ever K-chart on KBS2TV Musicbank on 10 April 2009. She was absolutely overwhelmed by the results as it come as a surprise to her. Her emotion was uncontrollable and thus unable to convey her feeling properly.
Since then, the song "Saturday Night" has taken consecutive top spot in several television music program and her every performance was totally stunning.
The song has marked her singing career to a higher level of stardom. Somehow, she has given me an enlightment. "No matter what you do, try your 100% best". I believe that one day, our efforts will be paid off.
